The Mill Girls is a ten month block of the month quilt pattern designed to complement our book, Away From Home: Quilts Inspired by the Lowell Factory Girls. Each of blocks is illustrated in full color and is accompanied by an actual letter written by one of the girls who worked in the Lowell, Massachusetts factories between 1830-1850.
