Most recently, Emerald Spring won a first place in Mixed Techniques at Road to California.She has won awards at other national shows including the Pacific International Quilt Festival, the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, and the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show. And Desert Star, the first place winner in the 2002 From the Mills Contest, was on display at the American Textile History Museum.Nancy’s quilts have been featured in magazines such as Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine, Quiltmaker, and Quilt.

What's on My Design Wall?

First up is a remake of our pattern called Kris Cross. This is a great pattern for a collection of fat quarters. The pattern comes with instructions for quilts in three different sizes. The finished block size is 9". Cindy DeUnger did the sewing for me. Didn't she do a great job? I sent her 15 fat quarters in an assortment of red, green, cream, and beige fabrics. Mill Works Sneak Peek

  It's a Sunday morning and I have to admit that I slept in late today. Last night I stayed up well past midnight, determined to finish hand sewing the binding down on my new Mill Works quilt.
