Rug Hooking? Yeah, rug hooking

So I am back from Spring Quilt Market in St Louis, MO where I shared some Studio 37 boothspace with fellow designer Sarah Maxwell of Designs by Sarah J. Here's my booth space replete with new quilts, my Getting to Know Hue BOM, my new patterns, and  . . .  WHAT? In the foreground, is that rug hooking? Getting to Know Hue and the Silhouette Cameo

Last week I introduced Getting to Know Hue,  my new block-of-the-month program and fabric collection of the same name.  It's a 12-month program featuring a medallion style quilt. When she first arrived home with us, she was quite skittish and liked to curl up in little spaces under tables and behind chairs. We thought maybe she'd feel more secure if she had her own little space,...D1

A Red-trospective

As Fall Quilt Market is coming at us like a speeding locomotive, we, meaning the folks at Marcus Fabrics/Studio 37 and my fellow designers, want to share with you.  Each week has a designated theme and this week's theme is "favorite color". Along with fellow designers Pam Buda (Heartspun Quilts) and Karen Styles (Somerset Patchwork) my favorite color is RED. Red and green is one of my favorite combinations.  Now that's not necessarily Christmas red and...FullSizeRender
